Mountain City Club Amenities
Billiards Room and John's Bar Serves lunch until 1:45 and drinks all day until 8:00. There are 3 regulation 8 foot Brunswick pool tables and one regulation snooker table. Cues and balls are available, or you may keep your cue in a locker. Fine cigars and Single Malt Scotch are the norm here with a big screen TV to watch the games. Health Club The health club has exercise bikes, weights, mats, steam room, and a sauna. The health club is located in the basement. Reading Room The reading room outside the Member's Dining Room is available for all members. There is a supply of current magazines and newspapers available Library The library on the second floor has available a number of books for checkout by members at any time that the club is open. Members are requested to return the books after two weeks. There are also chairs and desks available outside the library for reading, writing, and resting. Gin Rummy Room A gathering place for the "regulars" serves lunch from 11:45 until 1:45. Always has a game of gin rummy going. The room is used in the evenings for cocktails or small dinners with up to 30 people. Backgammon Room Small dining room seats 6, with a TV and backgammon table. Game Room There is a game room on the second floor where tables are available for cards and backgammon.
