Mountain City Club

Dining Rooms & Lounges

Crystal Dining Room

Formal Dining Room, seating 58 with large leather arm chairs. Very comfortable, with a cool green color. There is a Baby Grand Piano, and the chandeliers came out of the "Old Club". Generally used for membership Dining, but can be used for a reception.

The Garden Room

Small intimate Dining Room between the Crystal and Member Dining Room, It comfortably seats 20. Has 2 Large crystal chandeliers, and the walls have pastel garden wallpaper.

Member Dining Room

Largest room used for functions. Can comfortably seat 150 for dinner. A dance floor can be set up. This area is mainly used for receptions. Breakfast and lunch are served here. The room has 4 brass chandeliers and is decorated in the motif of an English hunting lodge. Adjoining the room is a small reading room with a large overstuffed sofa and 2 armchairs. A fireplace finishes the room. Excellent for a small buffet or as a back drop for wedding cakes.

Presidents Room

Comfortably seats 14. There is a bar built in on one wall, along with 2 crystal chandeliers. This room is available for a variety of events including wine tasting and small receptions.

Living Room & Noah's Bar (Guest Bar)

The perfect setting for a cocktail party, and when used in conjunction with the Members Dining Room can accommodate receptions of up to 350 people. Furnished comfortably with wood paneling has the charm and comfort of an old home. The focal point is the rotunda, with a large brass chandelier. This gives the room a spacious feel.

Rotunda

Second floor; perfect for a cocktail reception for up to 70 guests. The area is used as a seating area and library. There is also an internet connection here.

Billiards Room and John's Bar (Members Bar)

Serves lunch until 1:45. There are 3 regulation 8 foot Brunswick pool tables (cues and balls are available) with a big screen TV to watch sporting events.

Magnolia Room

Seats 10, an intimate dining room with a brass chandelier.

Estate Room

Seats 12, most private, has a pewter chandelier, and windows facing the street.

Backgammon Room

Small dining room seats 6, with a TV and backgammon table.

Gin Rummy Room

A gathering place for the "regulars" serves lunch from 11:45 until 1:45. Always has a game of gin rummy going. The room is used in the evenings for cocktails or small dinners with up to 30 people.

Woodlands Room

Seats up to 55. Is used for dinners, luncheon and civic events. Has two large crystal chandeliers, and is decorated in warm earth tones.
